It was based in very comfortable building in an exceptionally nice location, to the museum which was amazing. I stayed in the room that was presented nicely although cleanliness could be improved and available with a bathroom as such as well as shower gels.

Ground floor room, modern decor, friendly owner, nice coffee and tea with fresh milk. Packed lunch provided when we left early. Helpful staff member served breakfast. Enjoyable walk to town along the river Foss. Lovely superior double room on second floor, clean and comfortable.
